Tom:  They start the month of the year with C as January.  You can go to
the special menu by turning off radio and hold down the lock and fast
buttons, turn on radio and then go in the menu to the 9 series.  One of
them gives the date ,serial number etc.Also, lets you go to gen coverage
on tx.
