[1000mp] Low audio to sound card

I feed the MP's headphone output through an RS xfmr into either the 
soundcard's line or mic input.  With the MP's AF gain set to comfortable 
listening level in my headset, my PCI-128 soundcard seems to receive proper 
level with the line input volume level set at maximum or the mic input 
volume level set very low with boost enabled.  Proper level can be confirmed 
by recording with the Windows sound recorder and seeing decent movement (but 
not clipping) in the green level indicator.
