[1000mp] Software revisions for MP's versus Mark V's

Hi Folks,
Could someone please answer a question for me. Is the default menu in the MP
the same for the Mark V, I have the original MP and have notice that
firmware revisions varies on the production date, does this also follow true
for the Mark V.
