[1000mp] Menu settings w/1000mp

Since a few months I also use the MC4.
Someone on the reflector gave me the tip: use the nr 3 in de edsp transmit
menu.
I followed this thru and the result: compliments on the excellent clear
modulation.
What else is ther to say?

Hello 1000mp users,
Relatively new user of this rig and desire your imput as to certain menu
settings that work for you.  Interested to know if the menu should be set up
any different for contesting vs ragchewing.  Microphone used is Heil w/ HC4
element.
Have reviewed manuel but thought asking experienced users of this rig would
be more practical.  My main interest is contesting,so any contestors/users
that can assist me with how their radio works best ie tx/rx is set is
greatly appreciated.....
