[1000mp] FSK mode

Hello,

I'm a bit confused after today's first RTTY try-out on FSK.
I installed MMTTY and build a small PSK interface via comport.
After all adjustments in the software, I got on air for first tests.

1) Trying to get the rig calibrated.

I find it difficult to calibrate the tuning bar. I follow the manual but =
after setting tone and freq
the manual states to calibrate the middle marker with potmeter vr ...

On my tuningbar only an arrow on the right or a led on the midleft will =
appear.
Never I get to light up the middle marker ??

2) Also in CW this is not working, setting correct tone at 700 hz and =
spot button.

I can turn potmeter left to right, nothing happens ?


Second I like to ask what is correct mode in FSK.
The manual states RTTY (LSB) and MMTTY is the in NORMAL for reception.
But no station is answering, only when I put in RTTY (USB) and REV for =
read-out ???
Why, is this my mistake or what ?

What is the CORRECT FSK mode ??
