Hello Julio,
You will not regret this!
Not only the shapefactor of the Inrad filters is one of the best, but they
have very good audio too; more natural.
For example. When I use the 250 Hz Inrad filters for CW, then only the
selectivity changes and not the audio. The audio remains the same on the
same high standard as when I use the 2.8 kHz Inrad filter. Many other narrow
band filters has very different audio in comparison with wideband filters. I
cannot find the right word for it in the english language.
And the narrow band filters have the same level of audio as the wideband
filters. With some other filters you have to increase audio when you use
narrow band; very irritating.
Apart from that Inrad has a very great variety of filters! Where do you find
as many filters for your rig?
For example the 2800/2100/1000/400 or 2800/1800/500/250 combination gives
you a lot of possibilities and operating pleasure!
The main question is not IF you should use Inrad filters, but WHICH Inrad
filters...
For me (as European) there is only a big price difference between Inrad and
Yaesu (Inrad is about twice the price). In the US this is not the case, I
understand.
73,
Hans Remeeus.

I bought the INRAD filters...why? Everyone seems to recommend them over
Yaesu.
Despite what others may say...I do as I'm told :)
>BTW, did you buy the stock Yaesu filters or the Inrad? Why?
