OK, useful information...
Next question. If you have no DIN plug inserted in the RTTY jack, and press
MOX, do you get a steady, undistorted carrier, with ALC at midscale, or do
you get something else? IOW, are your symptoms associated with the Mk V,
without any TNC or other RTTY source?
To answer your other question, for RTTY, I am aware only of settings for
high/low tones and normal/reverse.
