Hello Bill,

I presume that on this subject there is no difference between the Mark V and
the field.

RTTY/PKT: NOR = 2.4k, NAR1 = 2.0k, NAR2 = 250H or 500H.

(BTW, my choice would be: NOR = 2.0k, NAR1 = 500H, NAR2 = 250H, as mentioned
in the Technical Overview of the Mark V!)

The manual of the Mark V is not quite clear on this subject. On page 102,
5-4, dAtAnAr2, it does not mention the 500H option. But on page 28 it is
mentioned!

8.2: 8.2M = 250H, 455H = 500H.
455: 8.2M = 500H, 455H = 250H.
8.2-455: 8.2M and 455H = 250H.
500H: 8.2M and 455H = 500H.

This would be it. Please correct me if I am wrong.

73,
Hans Remeeus.

I am trying to set the Bwidth for Nar2 in RTTY. The manual talks about 455,
8.2 and 8.2-455, but the radio also has a 500H mode, what is this?
Thanks Bill, K5ZQ
