[1000mp] Stingy S-Meter?

Tom,
  The Flat/Tuned option only applies to 10/12 and 80/160
meters.
  I would suggest you try bot options on each band and make your
own decision. I have noticed that my opinions don't necessarily
agree with others on this reflector.
  The MP S meter may be a bit stingier than a lot of rigs, but
not near as much as my old Ten Tec Omni.
I don't normally even look at it unless someone is outragously
huge!
