I can report succesfully using the SITECOM usb to serial adapters (two =
pieces) for either controlling my Kenwood TS2000 and Yaesu FT1000MP. =
After installing both devices to two usb ports, com 3 and 4 where =
visible in device manager besides com 1 and 2 being on the motherboard.

No additional IRQ's needed, all was P&P installed in Windows XP.

I now use com 1 (IRQ 4) for a homemade FSK/CW/PTT device to control =
digimodes on TS2000
I now use com 2 (IRQ 3) for a homemade FSK/CW/PTT device to control =
digimodes on FT1000MP
I now use com 3 (USB) for controlling my FT1000MP
I now use com4 (USB) for controlling my TS2000

keep in mind that the usb to serial devices can be used for al standard =
RS232 connections, however, using the voltage comming out real serial =
ports for homemade modems, PTT switching, FSK keying, CW etc... could be =
a different story. That's why I choose to keep my two original comports =
for these devices and used the usb 2 serials for the rig's CAT =
interfaces levelled for normal rs232 use.

I'm struggeling on using two sound cards in my computer.
One (SB live) is connected to my rigs, the other (SB128) I'm planning to =
use for normal set of PC speakers.
But I don't understand how I can point out to the O.S. that the first =
card is used for digimodes, second for PC sound.

Has anyone some additional info on this pse.
Who has succesfully set up his computer using two soundcards and how the =
settings where done ?

Thanks and 73
