[1000mp] Need help - Rx has gone deaf !!

Sorry, better furnish some more info.

I have read through the archives and disabled EDSP filtering, switched
antenna inputs from A to B and selected beverage on/off. Attenuator makes no
difference at all, though it is set at zero. I have switched the radio off
for 30 mins and it is still deaf on power up.

The signals seemed to disappear gradually  (though propagation was failing
on the band I was on) - but then again even though I struggled to copy the
weak signals, they got me first time - so I could put it down to a gradual
reduction.

Relays appear to be clicking as normal.

I have checked the idiots guide Brian  (thanks, I am double checking
everything  lol).  I think the key is that I don't actually see any bars lit
on the signal strength meter.

But do hear that "white noise" with the very occasional cw signal  (less
than S-1)  -  cannot even hear the broadcast stations on 40m !!!

Thanks again everyone - if it is a front end problem I just cannot
understand how it happened as I was not running high power and there are no
local signals. Rig was on Full-breakin for the cw and keying controlled by a
transistor switch via pc (still keys ok but just cannot listen  lol)
