[1000mp] Need help - Rx has gone deaf !!

Just operating the CQWW on cw and my front end has just gone deaf.

I can hear one or two signals (only) and the signal strength meter is =
not budging at all. Transmit side is still fine.

Have I lost the front end ? what checks can I do ?

I don't think I have inadvertently hit a "mute" switch - I have even =
reset the rig back to default settings. No linear was involved and I was =
operating very low power.  Trying not to panic as the contest is ticking =
away without me !!!

Not sure if there is a chance of a magic wand - I am all ears !!!
