This is normal and happens with any rig that uses bandwidth control that
is outside of the AGC loop.  A external DSP is a prime example and is
why the use of DSP for achieving a useful CW bandwidth is ill advised.
The proper INRAD filers are the only way to go.  (My opinion, of course)
