I brought my Mark V to Yaesu today.  The technician knew immediately what
was wrong.........the antenna relay located on the antenna tuner board was
bad (I'm not sure what "bad" means in this case).  They also checked out
everything, and gave it back!  I was amazed.  It now works fine.  This fixed
the VRF problem I reported earlier.  They said there is a 6 db attenuation
with the VRF, and that is why the antenna relay problem made it look like
the receiver quit.  Tom W6EIJ
