Juan,

I just went thru the same thing connecting to the CT contest software.

was never able to get my computer with SATAN IN A BOX, the same product
is also sold by microsoft as  windows XP.

A bit of a learning curve for me.  first make sure that the 9 pin cable from
the
cat output is a pc to device serial cable and not a pc to pc data transfer
cable..  I saw a cable marked serial cable pc to pc and tried that.  that
cable although not marked as such is actually called a null modem and will
not work.

when i used a computer with windows ME on it, the computer would talk to the
radio
but the radio would not talk to the computer.

If you have the correct cables (I got mine at radio shack) then someone else
familiar with your software can step in and help.
