On the other hand, I find that my Mark V is much more sensitive to SWR than
my old TS-930, and begins to fold back its output on 40m when driving my
SB-220, which has a fairly high input SWR on that band. I'm aware that the
input network Q is not ideal on these amps, and have revising it on my
to-do list, but for now I'm using the tuner.
