[1000mp] MP Receive Problem

I've recently read several pieces of mail regardingthe apparent relay 
sticking when switching from transmit to receive in the MP radios, 
particularly while using a linear amp.

I had the same problem when working contests.  The solution recommended to me 
over this reflector is quite simple and has worked flawlessly for several 
years.

Add an external relay to switch the amp...Try the Yaes FRB 757 box.  It's a 
snap to install.  It was designed to be used with the 757, but it works well 
with the MP.  The connections are phono jacks and mine just hangs off the 
back of the Mark V.  I believe it sells for about $30.  Got mine from Texas 
Towers.
