Mike KC7V confirms the crucial observation:
"I've heard the receive go deaf and come back to life by itself without any
keying by me."
Has anyone experienced the MP's spontaneous deaf receive syndrome (sdrs)
with their AGC turned off? Another hindsight regret on my part was not
switching off the AGC when it was happening so often in WPX and seeing if
the problem continued to occur.
