[1000mp] MP Relay/Receive Problem

A follow-up to my previous message.  For a period of time during WPX, the 
problem repeated fairly often.  Unless someone has really investigated this 
thoroughly, I would open up to question whether it is definitely a relay.  A 
few times the deafness resolved itself while I was listening and doing 
nothing (not xmiting) and the background noise would rise slowly over a 
couple of seconds, not suddenly.  I scratch my head whether dirty relay 
contacts could account for hearing it this way.

Just thought I'd throw out that observation.
