[1000mp] FT-1000MP (AF-DSP or IF-DSP)

The 1000MP does it's DSP at the IF level. The balance modulator & product
detector become mixers when the DSP is engage at the 10.24 freq. The AGC is
derived from standard analog techniques that Yaesu been using for the last
20 years. The AGC signal is picked up BEFORE the DSP ..... Thats why their
is no S meter change ...The DSP in the 1000MP(on receive) is really no
better than a 599zx timewave external box at audio levels
