Hello Ferdy,

I use the FT-1000MP Mark V in combination with the TL-922, with very good
results.

Please use the ALC on the backpanel of the TL-922 and use the right
ALC-cables between the FT-1000MP and the TL-922. Then you don't have to
adjust the powersetting on the FT-1000MP anymore. Just use maximum power on
the FT-1000MP and tune the ALC on the backpanel until you get the power
output you want from the FT-1000MP.

With the Mark V I adjusted the ALC for about 45 Watt Class A input. It gives
me more then enough power output from the TL-922.

Using the ALC you don't have to bother anymore about the power output of
your FT-1000MP.

For tuning the Mark V I use the FH-1; this is very comfortable!

Good luck and 73!

Hans Remeeus.
