Summary of opinion on ground wires:

Use large solid conductors (strap or round wire ok).  Use #12 and bigger on 
gear and #4 to # zero on main ground runs and between earth ground rods 
outside.

Use braid only where there will be significant movement of the wire like at 
a hinge or rotor.

Daisy chain between rigs and other gear is less favorable than taking each 
gear with its own wire to ground.
Opinion about one grounding bus bar at back of rigs to take clip-on wires 
from all gear is still not fully settled as best or not.

Braid is bad because of build up of dirt and corrosion between the tiny 
wires within the braid (when exposed to air or the elements).
