[1000mp] 2.0 SSB Filters for the Mark V

Bill (W4ZW), thanks for the info on the use of menu setting 8-9!  It truly makes
a difference in enhancing the intelligibility of SSB signals that otherwise are
fuzzy and somewhat distorted.  Frankly, I use to blame this problem on the
transmitting station's using too much processing or overmodulating.  (Actually,
that still may be the case, but the manipulation of the receiver carrier offset
does wonders for taking Q3 signals to Q5.)

I had previously left these settings at their default values.  If I now have a
problem with a received station's audio, I now immediately switch in Menu 8-9
and make the appropriate adjustment.  However, there are still some signals that
even defy this adjustment.
