I haven't compared the front and rear key jacks but the two keyer bugs I spoke of exhibit themselves with BKN off so
that there is no RF.

I saw some data somewhere recently where the impedance of flat braid and similar width copper strap was measured on HF
thru VHF.  The braid had slightly lower impedance which is desirable for RF grounding.  I'll have to poke around and see
if I can find the data.
