[1000mp] Minor moderately high speed keying problem

John --

Agreed. Matter of fact, when I had a Kenwood TS850, I had to give up on the
internal keyer because it appeared to use the Curtis "B" algorithm. That is,
when using iambic squeeze keying, it would often throw in an opposite
character at the end of the squeeze. Curtis "A" is much more intuitive.

Steve L --

I can relate. Last November was my first Sweepstakes with the MP, and the
keyer made me look a bit silly at 30+ wpm. At first I suspected early
senility at worst, or poor paddle adjustment at best. I later found out that
the MP keyer DOES trip over itself sometimes. BAH! Why does such a great rig
have such a crummy keyer??
