Interesting thread....
I have a MarkV and a MP...side by side. Because of the filtering ease and
ability to control the NB without going to the menu...and easier DSP
controls, I rarely use the MarkV. Think the MarkV is the "latest and
greatest" but the MP is definitely easier on the operator.
BTW, I use DX4WIN for rig control, so using a second PC to control filters
is not an option for me....and now that I come to think of it, isn't it
amasing that we need a PC interface to control filter selection!?
