Hi John! 

I'am running the MarkV over one year now using
a MD-100 Mikrofon and i also set the processor up all the way.
I get excellent reports from all over the world and also get "only"
10db compression on the meter.
It was the same with the 1000MP which i had 3 years with also
10db on the meter and the processor at maximum.
So dont worry it's normal...
