        No, I would choose Tuned in an all band contest...primarily
because it makes a HUGE difference on 10 meters.  I checked today
and estimate the Hi band preamp adds 10-12 dB which is absolutely
necessary on 10.  The change to Flat is more a preference than a
necessity for 80/160 and I could get along without it.  I'm really
surprised Yaesu did not make the preamps menu-selectable by band but 
I suppose they reserved that memory for the 100 channels which I 
never use!  ;-)
