Mine was very pickey about adjusting, but after getting the cw frequency set
up to 700 Hz, I was able to adjust the pot to exactly show zero beat. The
250 Hz filter is narrow enough, that the zero beat is not needed for my
operation.

Thanks for the information, fellas. But this radio failed the adjustment.
I could make the indicator light with the spot switch.
The indicator would light when keying dits of the monitor, but the
adjustment was perhaps 20 degrees of adjustment different (lower).
The indicator will not respond to a received signal of any signal strength
at any speed regardless of where I tune in the signal and regardless of
where I tune the pot.
I think I will forget it.
