Jim
Go take a look at this site

http://www.pandasoftware.com

Even if you dont use their software they have some really useful diagnostic
online stuff that checks your computer for free.
It most certainly finds stuff even daily updated Norton didn't.
In the UK we are lucky we can get a program called AVG for free and it is
amazing as an anti virus program again beets Norton and I was an avid fan
of Norton for years.
AVG email and tell you everytime there is a new update to download.
I have been told you can use it in USA providing you put in a UK address
in the set-up stage.
Good Luck its a real pain in the Butt getting rid of Klez

Our office where I work changed back to Norton a couple months ago. My
computer just got a virus with the Norton real time protection turned on.
My computer was attacked several times by at least three other computers
with the virus. Some of the messages have text and some do not. Some have
mentioned Klez.E. None have had attachments, and none of the messages were
opened, but only viewed in the preview pane.
Now I've found that my computer at work is sending out odd messages to
others. The funny thing is that all the messages in and out have been only
to and from people associated with one project I worked on about a year ago.
Maybe we all opened an attachment that has been sleeping until a specific
date?
I do the Norton Live Update, and a complete scan of the computer, but
Norton finds nothing. Yet there is no doubt that the computer is infected.
