[1000mp] Which TXCO for Digital modes?

Hi,
I am planning to buy a TXCO because I noticed a big drift of abt. 100 Hz @
14 MHz after some operation. This is no wonder because the manual states 10
ppm stability. [My FT 100 without a TXCO offers 4 PPM which is much
better.] During normal SSB and CW operation this is not a problem [I barely
noticed it] but if you are operating digital modes (Pactor II etc.) then
this drift can be a problem. I am using the "User" mode in "packet-low"
position with a center frequency of 1500 Hz and this drift not only changes
the RX frequency. It also changes the center frequency of the filter curve.
In all other modes the curves are stable.
There exists two TXCOs: TXCO-4 with 2 ppm and TXCO-6 with 0,5 ppm. As I am
not planning to setup a "reference" transmitter I am planning to buy the
TXCO-4 which costs only 1/3 of the TXCO-6.
What are your results? Are you operating Pactor? Which TXCO are you using?
Thank in advance.
