[1000mp] RTTY filter menus

No problem at all to use NOR/NAR1/NAR2 for RTTY!

NOR means 2.4 kHz, NAR1 is 2.0 kHz and NAR2 is 250 Hz.

I think Yaesu made a mistake with the bandwidth for RTTY. Much better would
be: NOR: 2.0, NAR1: 500, NAR2: 250. I really don't understand why Yaesu
did'nt do it this way. There is a difference between the manual and the
technical overview! In the technical overview on page 8, table 1-3 they did
a much better job. Unfortunately the job was only written and not
implemented.

I have several INRAD-filters installed (1 x 2.8, 2 x 2.1, 2 x 400 Hz and 1 x
250 Hz) and menu 5-4 is set to 8.2. So in my case NOR is 2.65 kHz, NAR1 is
2.1 kHz and NAR2 is 400 Hz.

Just look in your manual at page 46 and page 102.

However... With the modern TNC's (such as the SCS PTC-IIpro) or with a
soundcard the bandwidth is not important anymore. The DSP of the
TNC/soundcard handles with the signal, independent of the bandwidth. With
the new Pactor III mode it is even impossible to use narrow bandwidth!
