I hope someone can send me a copy of the RF section of the field, so 
I can look at the noise blanker.

The field is similar to the 1000D close-spaced IM3 results, so I am 
wondering if they copied the 1000D method of using AGC only to 
control 1st NB amplifier gate voltage, instead of having that manual 
like in the MP.

If so, the gain of the NB amp goes wide open full on when the NB is 
OFF. The MP only goes wide open when the front panel NB gain is up, 
regardless if the blanker is off or one in either case.

My 1000D was horrible for close spaced IM3 , as have all I have 
tested without the NB mod.  At wider spacings, they are fine.

The narrow test will probably bust it or make it, so far as 
contesters or low-band DXers are concerned. That's what I'm waiting
