An issue as important as CW bandwidth (i.e., key clicks), should
definitely be included in the review published in QST and not "hidden" in
the expanded test report.
My decision to buy any new rig is largely based on the reviews I read in
QST. Most important to me are the receiver specs. The most important
transmitter spec for me is whether it is clean (i.e., click-free) on CW.
When the review in QST says, "Excellent keying characteristics" as it did
for the FT-1000MP (which is one of the clickiest rigs on the air),
something is definitely wrong.and makes the entire review suspect. The
ARRL is surely capable of better reporting than that.
