[1000mp] tuning up while split

It appears that, like front panel filter selection, Yaesu has removed
quick split capability from the front panel of the Mk V.  What  good does
menu item 1-6 do for the Mk V if you don't have the FH-1 keypad?

The best solution I can come up with is:

1) Hit the front panel A>B button to place the Sub VFO on the same
frequency and mode as the Main VFO.

2) Twirl the Sub VFO knob to an usused frequency.

3) Hit the TX red LED button on the Sub VFO, then tune up your amplifier
by on of the methods I described.
