Heinous indeed.  Interesting that the QST technical reviewers were looking 
at the same waveforms and concluded: "It was a joy to operate the FT-1000MP 
on CW.  Keying is clean and smooth (see Figure 2)", which was, of course, 
the keying waveform.  Oy.

I plan on implementing the fix and appreciate the good work Tom is doing 
here.  This issue really hit home this weekend in CQ 160.
