Thanks Lou, and you are right. 

1.) It is impossible to NOT have excessive clicks with a rise or fall 
much faster than 5 mS.

2.) Even if the rise and fall is long, a radio can still click. 

While a slow rise and fall does NOT guarantee a radio will be click-
free, a fast rise or fall DOES guarantee it WILL have a problem.
