Hello
Regarding connections for psk, the speaker out of the sound card should never be used. This is much to high a level, the patch in on the Yaesu radios is looking for a microphone level signal (millivolts) sound cards are capable of volts out even at the line out much less the speaker out.
Ive used line out to patch in and af (line) out of the radio to line in on the soundcard for several years on RTTY and PSK with two Yaesu radios latest being a MP. For PTT you can use a serial cable to the MP and with logger/zakanaka you will have PTT as well as frequency readout/agile radio control.
Good luck WA4MIT Morris
