Hello Lou!
Did you replace the 2,4 Collins filter by an Inrad filter?
INRAD does not has 2,4 kHz filters, but 2,8 kHz. However, there is the Yaesu
2,4 crystal filter in the 8,215 MHz IF. When I replace the 2,4 Collins
filter with the 2,8 INRAD filter, I think I have to replace the 2,4 Yaesu
crystal filter as well. What do you think about this?
As I told you, I sold my MP (kept my Mark V of course) and will buy the
756ProII in february. Perhaps in Germany, as they cost $1000 less then in my
own country... This is because in Germany they sell much more transceivers
then in our country. When you sell more, with the same shop and the same
amount of personnel, you are able to take less margin.
Many thanks in advance and all the best!
Kind Regards,
Hans Remeeus.
