    You should ask George Cutsogeorge at INRAD if you are not sure.
All the filters in the 1000MP are plug in, as are the Mark V.  There website
should do it for you:
    http://www.qth.com/inrad/
Drop In means plug in. Wire In means soldering required.  Look at the ICOM
735 for those examples.
The "Custom PC Board" installs as shown in the Yaesu manual "Installing
Internal Accessories"; 2nd & 3rd IF Filters.  It is by pushing the filter
board over plastic and metal pins to support and connect the circuitry
