Bill did not mention whether he is in the SSB mode or the CW mode.

The VOX delay for SSB is on the ALC unit under the front panel cover.

The VOX delay for CW (called "keyer delay") is adjusted via menu item
7-5.  The factory default is 0, which makes the rig appear to always be
in the break-in mode.  For non-break-in CW operation, Menu item 7-5
(displayed in seconds) should be set to something higher than 0.
