I guess experiences vary. I've run a TL922A for many years and have
never had this problem. Also, there are several other TL922 users in
my area and no one has ever mentioned this problem to me.

Can't but agree on the TL922 bandswitch problems--we have one at the
Historical
Amateur Radio Club station (W3GR) and the switch contact is nearly
completely
burned out on ten.  Hard to replace yourself, and expensive to have done.
