[1000mp] Yaesu service backlog; symptoms

I was similarly told 6-8 weeks as a canned response everytime I called up 
until my FT-1000 was finally serviced after 11 weeks.  I suspect service 
time varies depending on your luck, or lack of it, in the draw.
