The FL-2100 B uses 572B tubes.  I had one and it worked well with my FT-890.
True, it does not have 160m but that doesn't make it a bad amp.  The amp has
been known to go into ocillation but I have never experienced that problem
even after hours of contesting.  I'm not  sure what tubes the SB-200 uses,
but if it is 3-500z then I would go with that.

FYI,
Only issue with the 2100b is lack of 160; but there is a 12 mtr mod (I
think).  My mp/2100b combo has worked perfectly since I picked up the 2100b
used last summer.

Hi Gerry,

I used the FL-2100B w/my FT-1000MP and it worked great.  I didn't connect
the ALC (I've never had much luck with ALC and any of the amps I've used).
600 watts out and great reports.  All you need to do is connect the keying
line, the RF input and the antenna and you're off and running.
