If you understand the early stages of these rigs' receivers you will 
understand that it is IMPOSSIBLE to obtain broadband sigs to feed to a 
panadaptor like the SM-220 or 230.  Even if you could build an outboard 
circuit to try to do the job, most likely where you tap into the signal path 
will introduce very undesirable effects.
