[1000mp] Rigblaster and 1000MP

I am using that combo, and sometimes I am unsure why...

I use it in the simplest way, I think. While I provided a COM port for
controlling it, I find that this is unnecessary in my case, as my SSB
operation is VOX and it does not seem to be necessary to have RS232 control
for that or PSK.

The major feature of a RigBlaste is its provision of transformer isolation.
But there is only one transformer,i.e. for the transmit path. I have not
found it necessary to install a transformer between the MP's Stereo Audio
output and the soundcard, but logic suggests that would be a good idea.I
think MFJ's unit offers transformer isolation in both directions.

Somewhere, a few months ago, someone suggested PSK settings, which I
installed in USER mode. I cannot recall what was special about the settings,
but, of cours, you start with LSB and w.4 kHz bandwidth. Set up DX4WIN
according to the manual. Observe the transmit level guidelines closely.

Maybe it is advancing senility, but I find that, since I do not operate
PSK31 very often, I have to completely retrain myself every time I use it.
Almost the same for RTTY, as well.
