[1000mp] FT1000MP Mark V Display Failure

I understand the most common cause of display failure is an open Thermal =
Fuse on the inverter board.  Has anyone ever heard what actually causes =
the temp to rise thus blowing the thermal fuse?  Since one would need to =
either order an expensive inverter unit or try to just replace the =
thermal fuse has just shorting out the blown fuse worked for a period of =
time?  I am about to get my third new FT1000MP Mark V.  The first one =
the display worked for only three days.  The second lasted a total of =
three hours.  Great stuff this Yaesu gear.  Do you think I really want =
to keep buying Yaesu?
