There is a piece of adhesive backed, black felt like tape that
is used to protect where a cable could rub on a sharp edge of
the underside of the chassis. Its only about an inch long
were it sticks, but it does take a fair amount of effort to pull
the bottom cover off. I put a small piece of black electrical
tape over this area to make future removals easier.

When re-assembling, make sure all the screw holes line up and
don't use to much torque when tightening the screws. There's
not much thread on the screw hole's in the chassis.

Manual instructions say, to replace or install a filter to remove the
three screws on each side of the xcvr. I see four (4).

The seven on the bottom have been removed but cover must be
captivated by something else.

A few words of wisdom would go a long way to help.

Thank you,
