It is best to fill the filter slots in pairs, matched pairs. The difference
matched pair filters make will especially be noticeable the narrower the
filters are. Of course the previous comments about filling the 8.2 Mhz IF
slots first if you must buy separately is the way to go if you absolutely
cant do the matched pairs. Noise blanker, IF shift, Dsp, etc etc will all
work better with filters in both slots too .....
