[1000mp] tip: switching in extra band filters for reception

I use between the IN and OUT connectors on the MP an KAY rf attenuator (O to
41dB in 1 dB steps), very good  expecially in contests for keeping the
lowest band noise with a less tiring reception.
I am thinking to insert here also an MFJ 1025 noise reductor and  a passive
preselector.
It is also a good place, expecially for us European, to insert a narrow
(10 - 20 khz) two or four pole quartz filter for 40 meter (as those produced
by INRAD-W2VJN) for deleting the 50dB over S9 broadcasting.
